June

In honor of tomorrow being June, I will dedicate this post to the one and only June Carter Cash. The following is a copy of a handwritten love letter that Johnny Cash wrote to his wife, June Carter Cash, found in "House of Cash" by John Carter Cash.

Hey June,

That's really nice June. You've got a way with words and a way with me as well. The fire and excitement may be gone now that we don't go out there and sing them anymore, but the ring of fire still burns around you and I, keeping our love hotter than a pepper sprout.

I'm truly grateful I married a man that cherishes me and loves me, who walks the line for me everyday.
